Job Summary
Stage correct packaging materials, fill, seal, and palletize cream cheese while following SOPs for equipment setup, seal integrity, and accurate labeling. Maintain packaging and sealing equipment in a sanitary state using GMPs and good housekeeping practices. Immediately notify the supervisor of unsafe conditions or product deviations that could result in failure. Accurately complete all required documentation. Ensure safety, sanitation, and quality policies are followed throughout the production process.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have good reasoning ability to deal with problems involving variables in standard situations
- Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions
- Must demonstrate basic math skills and understand weights and measures
- Must be able to verbally communicate, understand, and write in the English language
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to push, pull, and move up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds
- All jobs require visual acuity to review written documentations
- Ability to hear and understand speech
Desired Qualifications
- Previous food packaging experience is preferred
