Job Summary
CRE Relationship Manager with responsibility for developing sound, profitable relationships and pursuing business development to build a multi-million-dollar loan portfolio in commercial real estate. Manage and maintain relationships with CRE customers and prospects, source referrals, and underwrite lending opportunities ranging from $10M to $40M. Maintain knowledge of the Atlanta real estate market to accurately underwrite opportunities, grow a profitable portfolio, and document, close, and administer loans using best practices. Requires 5+ years in CRE lending and account management, deep Atlanta real estate connections, excellent communication, thorough underwriting capability across CRE loan types, and a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field (commensurate experience considered). The role emphasizes relationship growth, portfolio profitability, and rigorous loan documentation within a banking context.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in complex commercial real estate lending and account management in a financial institution
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field (commensurate experience considered in lieu of degree)
- Deep connections to the Atlanta real estate community with proven portfolio-building track record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough knowledge in review, analysis, and underwriting CRE loans and related financial statements
- Thorough understanding of commercial building construction procedures and practices
