Job Summary
Provide product tastings to public and industry guests while educating them on the history, craftsmanship, and quality of Crater Lake Spirits. Craft and batch mini cocktails, maintain product inventory, and perform retail sales including processing credit card transactions. Clean glassware, stock supplies, and maintain a clean environment including the restroom. Always follow OLCC rules and regulations. This part-time role in Bend, Oregon requires 28 hours per week from Thursday to Monday. An OLCC Server Permit is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ to apply
- OLCC Server Permit required
- High school diploma required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers and employees
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and calculating tabs
- Ability to measure and pour accurately, including converting between ounces and milliliters
- Understanding of ABV/proof calculations
- Comfort with simple ratio math for scaling cocktail recipes and tracking inventory or waste
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
