Job Summary
Build custom crates, skids, and packaging for signs, architectural products, and specialty materials using saws, drills, nail guns, and banding equipment. Load, secure, brace, and protect products for nationwide and international shipment by reading shop drawings and measurements. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to label, prepare, and stage shipments while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Ensure products arrive damage-free to customers across the country and around the world. This hands-on role requires carpentry experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift large materials safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift, move, and handle large materials safely
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Construction, carpentry, crating, shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
