Job Summary
Deal all craps games professionally, accurately, and in compliance with state and federal regulations while ensuring a positive guest experience. Observe gamblers for signs of cheating, track player levels, and notify supervisors of suspected violations. Protect sensitive equipment, complete transaction paperwork, and monitor operations to enforce house rules and internal controls. Maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card and pass yearly Title 31 certification. Work independently under pressure, assist with promotions, and fill in as a dual-rate supervisor when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card
- Must be able to pass yearly Title 31 certification
- Must be able to work independently and unsupervised at times
- Must be able to effectively communicate with Compliance Department
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to submit to a background check and drug test
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card
- At least 1 years of experience in Craps Dealer
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during shift
- Proficient use of a computer, including keyboarding and mouse skills
- Must be able to bend/kneel & work outdoors less than 25% of the time
- Hearing, vision, speech, and literacy skills are critical
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
- Ability to work in environments that are smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid
- Must be able to bend and reach across the craps table
Desired Qualifications
- Able to remain open-minded to changes and new information daily
- Be knowledgeable about guest events, marketing promotions and services/amenities throughout the property
- Familiarity with gaming software and security systems
