Job Summary
Operate a grinding lathe to grind crankshaft rods and main journals to required specifications by reading micrometers and positioning cranks from floor racks for shipment. Perform machine set-up and preventative maintenance while using handheld tools such as a hammer and hand grinder. Lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 15 lbs throughout an 8-10 hour shift. Complete on-the-job training to master these tasks.
