Job Summary

Inspect, maintain, service, repair, install, assemble, and dismantle overhead cranes and rigging equipment; troubleshoot mechanical and electrical crane components; interpret technical drawings and schematics; perform inspections and testing; maintain required certifications; operate mobile equipment to support maintenance activities; follow safety and environmental regulations; work inside/outside with exposure to noise, heat, chemicals, and high places; physical ability to climb, lift up to 100 pounds; valid Colorado driver’s license; eager to obtain additional crane/rigger certifications as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2,000 hours of relevant crane maintenance experience and training
  • Certification in one of the following: Overhead Crane Mechanical Maintenance or Overhead Crane Electrical Maintenance
  • Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain certifications in all four areas: Crane Maintenance- Mechanical, Crane Maintenance – Electrical, Crane Inspector and Rigging Inspector
  • Strong Mechanical and/or electrical experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, repair and installation skills
  • Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license and a mobile equipment qualification
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, prints, and schematics
  • Ability to operate cranes and mobile equipment in maintenance support roles
  • Compliance with safety policies and regulations
