Job Summary
Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes while consulting customers on safety issues. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, generate sales leads during service calls, and execute new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and start-ups. Accurately document all work on service reports and maintain a clean, safe environment with comfort for working at heights. Some travel may be required, with an 8-hour Monday-to-Friday schedule and on-call/overtime possibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory
- Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems
- A.A. degree or Equivalent vocational-training or experience
- Minimum of 2-year hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance and/or equivalent military experience
- Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
- Willingness to work overtime
- Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must pass drug-screen and background check
- Strong communication skills
- Proven commitment to safety
- Comfort with working at heights
- Proof of right to lawfully work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming
- Crane maintenance experience
