Crane Rigger

Assemble rigging to lift and move equipment and materials to and from industrial work areas by selecting appropriate cables, ropes, winches, and blocks based on load weight and size. Attach pullups and blocks to overhead structures, splice rope and wire cables to repair slings, and attach loads with grappling devices to crane hooks. Set up and brace hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches while giving direction to operators via hand signals and radios to ensure worker and material safety. Monitor compliance with all safety rules and maintain current certifications to meet regulations. Requires one year of rigging experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule includes Monday through Friday with some Saturdays, working home daily.
