Crane Operator - Weekend Night Shifts

Job Summary
Conduct safe and efficient crane operations, including pre-lift inspections, COG marking, and lifting pole sections to assembly stands. Perform monthly safety audits, maintain daily housekeeping, and use proper lifting techniques for raw materials and steel sections. Review product data sheets to determine part numbers and appropriate rack locations, while monitoring equipment and recording quality tracking data. Operate overhead double-hoist and single-hoist cranes to transport materials within the manufacturing plant environment. Work weekend night shifts from Friday 6 PM to Sunday 6:15 AM.
Required Qualifications
- A high awareness for safety at all times
- Ability to work effectively with plant employees, supervisors, management and customers
- Ability to prioritize work in order to complete deadlines
- Must also be able to work through problem with the minimum amount of assistance from the lead person or supervisor
- Ability to work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time result without errors
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- More than one year of general labor experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in working with steel or in a similar manufacturing environment
- Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
