Job Summary
Operate a Mi-Jack MJ100 Straddle Carrier to load, unload, and transport trailers and equipment within the finished goods storage yard. Stage, relocate, and position HVAC products based on operational priorities while performing pre-shift and post-shift inspections. Support inventory accuracy through proper placement, movement, and tracking of materials, including cycle counts and verification activities. Coordinate with logistics coordinators and shipping personnel to maintain safety, equipment readiness, and traffic flow standards. Respond to changing shipping demands, peak workloads, and weather-related operational needs in an outdoor environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of two (2) years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- PPE compliance in accordance with site policy
- Pass additional drug screening (Safety Sensitive Role)
Desired Qualifications
- Mi-Jack or Travelift operating experience
- Container handling experience
- Rail or intermodal yard experience
- Forklift certification CDL Class A
