Job Summary
Crane Operator needed for Southway Crane & Rigging to safely operate hydraulic cranes with NCCCO certification and CDL A. Responsibilities include preparing rigging and equipment, completing Field Tickets and payroll records, performing equipment maintenance, interpreting load charts, programming crane setup, ensuring proper hand signals with signal personnel, applying proper rigging techniques, inspecting crane/truck/trailer, and assisting in training for safe crane operation. Must read and interpret load charts, set up the crane on location safely, verify signal person understanding, and complete vehicle inspection reports. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and environmental policies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current state issued Commercial Driver License (CDL A with no restrictions)
- Must have a current crane operating license (NCCCO Certification)
- 3 or more years of operating hydraulic cranes required
