Crane Operator

Job Summary
Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites; perform daily safety and operational inspections on crane equipment; ensure safe lifting practices and compliance with site safety regulations; signal or communicate with riggers and other team members to ensure safe movements; maintain accurate records of crane operations and log maintenance checks; load and unload equipment and materials using appropriate attachments or rigging; monitor crane operations for mechanical issues and report any malfunctions; follow site plans, blueprints, or instructions from supervisors for lifting tasks; assist with site setup and equipment mobilization as needed; maintain a clean and organized work environment; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Strong knowledge of crane load charts, rigging, and lifting procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA or local safety standards
