Crane Operator/Rigger

Job Summary
Operate a stationary or traveling crane ranging from 10 to 200 tons to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Depress buttons, lift levers, and ensure loads are safely attached before initiating any lift. Move products, equipment, or materials to and from industrial work areas. Rig and load units on trucks for transport. Work in a safe manner while enforcing all safety policies. Requires four years of crane operation experience and rigging expertise. Schedule includes 50-55 hours per week with partial Saturdays and overtime pay at time and a half. Global Power Components manufactures UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, and modular metal enclosures for electrical distribution equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in crane operation for minimum of four (4) years
- Rigging experience
- Must be flexible to updated changes in production schedules
- Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week)
- Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months)
- Minimum of 50-55 hours per week
- Partial Saturdays when business needs dictate
- Overtime is paid a time and a half for any time worked over 40 in a week
