Job Summary
Operate non-slewing and overhead cranes; plan and carry out safe lifting operations using rigging equipment, overhead cranes and mobile cranes; operate and maintain lifting equipment and safety gear; follow risk-management procedures to ensure lifting work is completed safely; inspect equipment and report defects or maintenance needs; record operational and maintenance information; actively participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement; work cooperatively with maintenance and production teams to support factory production targets.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver’s licence
- High Risk Work Licences relevant to the role, including: Non-Slewing Crane (CN), Dogging (DG), Rigging Intermediate (RI), Forklift (LF)
- Experience operating cranes and lifting equipment
- Loader and Bobcat operation experience would be advantageous
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
