Crane Operator

Job Summary
Operate cranes under complete control and supervision while inspecting components and lifting devices to ensure safety. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and daily/monthly equipment inspections using manufacturer recommendations. Travel to job sites, directing truck drivers and helpers during assembly, disassembly, setup, and load delivery. Mentor other crane operators and helpers while adhering to OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and all company safety policies. Maintain a Class A CDL, logbook, and hours, passing pre-employment screening and DOT physical. Wear required PPE and follow all customer and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Class A CDL driver's license and maintain it
- N.C.C.C.O. crane operator certification card for size and type of crane operating
- Crane operator qualification evaluations on all types of size and type of cranes operating
- Necessary knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards associated with crane and rigging services
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- Passed pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Passed DOT physical
- Passed 7 year background check
- Ability to take direction(s) from supervision
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive haul truck and deliver loads
