Job Summary
Operate lattice boom cranes and hydraulic cranes above 150 tons at Lake Charles, LA for the LADOTD project. Read and adhere to lift plans, perform daily inspections and complete inspection reports, and be prepared to operate different crane types as required. Maintain NCCCO or NCCER certification and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication with customers, vendors, and colleagues. Exhibit willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, and function effectively as a team member while maintaining safety and quality. Knowledge of crane operations, safety procedures, and the ability to adapt to project demands are essential.
Required Qualifications
- National Crane Certification (NCCCO or NCCER)
- 5+ years of relevant crane operating experience on cranes over 150 tons
- Ability to read and understand lift plans
- Ability to operate lattice boom and hydraulic cranes above 150 tons
- Ability to perform daily inspections and complete inspection reports
- Ability to adapt to different crane types as needed
- Strong safety and communication skills
- Teamwork and ability to work independently to meet project goals
