Job Summary
Operate an All-Terrain Crane for heavy lifting, sound wall installation, and beam movement while rigging and unrigging equipment. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and record time worked via assigned electronic tablet. Ensure fittings and equipment are available prior to departure, then load and unload cargo efficiently while following traffic laws and client regulations. Enforce all safety policies, report accidents and violations, and maintain good housekeeping. Work 45-60 hours weekly in extreme temperatures and rough conditions, lifting up to 75 pounds. Requires Class A CDL, Certified Crane Operator certification, and current medical certification.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Certified Crane Operator
- Current valid medical certification
- Hazmat helpful
- 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver required (the right candidate can have less)
- Ability to effectively use an electronic tablet
- Ability to read a map or receive directions over the phone or electronic tablet
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to hear well
- Must be able to operate an All-Terrain Crane
- Must be able to rig up and rig down for Crane work
- Ensures all fittings & equipment are available for assigned jobs prior to departure
- Enforce and Abide by all company safety policies and procedures
- Loads and unloads cargo efficiently and effectively
- Follows traffic laws and client on-site regulations
- Effectively & Safely work in all weather conditions
- Reports all accidents, near misses and safety violations
- Communicates well with Managers, Dispatchers and Teammates
- Communicates with client representatives in a respectful, professional manner
- Will lift weights up to 75 pounds and must lift, push, pull and hold heavy objects
- Will climb stairs, bend, stretch and twist side to side daily
- Your weeks will be an average of 45-60 hours
Desired Qualifications
- Safeland training certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
