Job Summary
Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and relocate heavy loads within manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments. Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment, hoists, cables, and rigging gear to ensure proper working order. Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, site-specific safety policies, and rigging/signaling procedures. Coordinate with riggers, spotters, and ground personnel using standardized hand signals or radio communication. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to supervisors or the maintenance department immediately. Valid certifications and experience in heavy manufacturing or construction are required. This role supports GE Vernova's mission to electrify the world while decarbonizing energy systems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid crane operator certifications
- Previous experience in heavy manufacturing or construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret load charts, capacity ratings, and rigging instructions
- Strong spatial awareness
- Attention to detail

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to complete a drug screen (as applicable)
