Job Summary
Operate various crane types including hydraulic trucks, crawlers, and boom trucks to lift, move, and position loads while collaborating with riggers and supervisors via verbal or hand signals. Drive cranes to worksites, set up equipment per manufacturer manuals, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections along with routine maintenance. Carry tools for repairs, properly barricade working radii, and fill out job tickets for customer billing. Take full charge of safety protocols, wear PPE, and manage equipment assembly and disassembly. Brief travel is expected, with normally nothing longer than a week. Candidates must hold a CDL-B license (CDL-A preferred), possess NCCCO certification, and demonstrate proficiency in OSHA regulations and ANSI standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of two years of Crane Operation experience
- Working knowledge of rigging, cranes, and commercial moving and storage
- Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Must be able to read and speak the English language
- Must possess a current NCCCO, TLL (TSS is also preferred), or equivalent crane operator certification
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and ANSI standards in crane operations
- Minimum of a CDL – B license required
- Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and DOT physical/fit for duty test
- Must be able to climb, stand; walk; sit; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to use fingers and hands to adjust straps, move equipment and perform daily duties
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to push feet to operate crane
- Must be able to pull handles and grasp equipment
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to work in a high functioning team environment

Desired Qualifications
- TSS is also preferred
- CDL-A License preferred
- LBC/LBT would be helpful but not required
- Prefer candidates with proficient oral and written communication skills, technical skills, and functional skills
