Job Summary
Operate crane to transport coils inside the facility (from trailers/rail/transfer cars to storage and back), mark coils, log materials in plant systems, and assist with loading/unloading to support slitter operations. Enter coil/location data into crane cab computers and print coil tags, supply slitters/mills with steel, prepare shipping documents, visually inspect crane for defects and report issues, and be available for overtime. Must have crane/operator experience in an industrial manufacturing setting and pass a post-offer drug screen. Familiarity with Atkore's Business System and role importance to daily operations is expected within initial training and ongoing development.
Required Qualifications
