Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repair of all Company property and equipment in the yard or at job sites, following preventative maintenance programs and safety regulations. Inspect, evaluate, and recommend repair or replacement of equipment and vehicles while modifying existing systems to maintain optimal working order. Manage parts and supply inventory, ensuring accurate coding and organization, and keep all maintenance records accurate and current. Coordinate activities between maintenance personnel and other departments, keeping management informed of area activities and significant problems. Perform repairs in the shop or field as required and stay abreast of changes in technology, regulations, and recall notices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years mechanic repair and maintenance experience with heavy equipment
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver license with ability to obtain CDL
- Must be able to meet company standards on background screen
- Must pass both pre-employment drug and physical screens
