Job Summary
Crane & Hoist Technician responsible for inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead, gantry, CM hoists, jib, and jib hoist cranes; perform electrical/mechanical preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs; document work in CMMS; operate aerial lifts; diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals. Requires a High School Diploma/GED or higher and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. On-site role based in Knoxville, IA with up to 5% travel; relocation assistance may be authorized. Starting pay is $42.09 per hour. Safety and environmental health standards emphasized; benefits available. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Three (3) years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights of 30 feet or higher
- Associates degree or technical certification in crane/hoist, industrial mechanical, HVAC, or related Facility Maintenance discipline (preferred)
- Crane inspector certification/training (preferred)
- Legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship (H1B status not required)
