Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field preferred
- 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a trades or construction environment
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies
- Knowledge of apprenticeship programs, trade certifications, and labour market conditions
- Basic understanding of labour relations, collective agreements, and employment legislation
- Experience using online recruiting tools and job platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Business acumen and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to mentor or support junior recruiters is considered an asset
