Job Summary
Partner with field operations leaders, project managers, and superintendents to understand craft manpower needs and build staffing plans. Manage full-cycle recruiting for craft and field roles from intake through offer, sourcing and screening talent via trade schools, apprenticeship programs, job fairs, and referrals. Maintain a pipeline of craft workers to meet current and forecasted project demand while tracking staffing metrics like time-to-fill and headcount against project demand. Represent Dacon at industry hiring events and ensure all recruiting practices comply with employment law and company policy. This hybrid role between Houston and Deer Park, TX, reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager or VP of Human Resources.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to project sites and recruiting events as needed
- Ability to sit for extended periods during computer-based work
- Ability to stand and walk intermittently throughout the workday
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
- Occasional travel to other offices or meeting locations
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future visa sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Experience with high-volume, full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment
- ApplicantStack experience
- Experience in the electrical, utility, transmission and distribution, substation, EPC, or heavy construction industry
