Job Summary
A Painter will perform or assist in blasting and coating duties, prepare and paint various surfaces, utilize sanding and surface preparation equipment, and ensure cleanup of the work area. Responsibilities include communicating with the Field Foreman, ensuring work efficiency in their absence, and complying with Apache safety policies. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in extreme weather conditions, and perform tasks involving squatting, kneeling, and climbing. A solid understanding of safe practices related to paint and cleaning products is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year uninterrupted service with Apache
- Knowledge regarding the techniques related to the safe use, storage and disposal of paint and cleaning products
- Experience with the installation and repair of tank products
- Proven ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Proven ability to work safely and follow all safe practices and procedures
- Ability to maintain good housekeeping on the jobsite
- Reliable attendance record
