Job Summary
Conduct Civil/Electrical duties at the project site while operating heavy and light equipment such as backhoes, loaders, rollers, excavators, and cranes. Perform daily pre-inspections on incoming and outgoing loads, monitor equipment during operation, and report hours, fuel usage, and maintenance needs. Maintain the job site and mobile equipment through preventive maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs while adhering to OSHA safety procedures and PPE requirements. Evaluate work requirements across various terrains and notify management of any malfunctions or unsafe conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a construction field
- 0-2 years experience with backhoe, loader, roller and rock truck
- 0-3 years experience with blade, excavator and dozer
- 1-3 years experience with trencher and up to 130 ton crane/crawler R/T (rough terrain) and less than 250T crane/crawler or A/T (all terrain)
- 4+ years experience with 250 Ton crane/crawler or A/T (all terrain)
- Must be certified on site for all types of heavy/light equipment by displaying skill level to a Superintendent
- CCO certification for Crane Operators
- Must present certification card
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home as required
- Must pass a pre-employment background investigation
- Must pass a drug test
Desired Qualifications
- CDL certifications for A/T cranes
