Job Summary
Greet and welcome taproom guests, delivering an exceptional experience while serving food and drinks. Lead guided tours and tastings for small and large groups, and achieve daily sales targets. Manage daily opening and closing procedures, rotate beer inventory, and maintain retail, event, and outdoor spaces. Assist with store displays, package online orders, and work in all weather conditions, including occasional external festivals. This permanent part-time role reports to the Taproom Manager at Muskoka Brewery, requiring smart serve certification and availability for all shifts including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be smart serve certified (minimum age 18)
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and work great in a team environment
- Proven record of customer centric service with excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow processes set by leads and manager
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Exemplary work ethic and commitment to our values
- Highly organized, self-motivated with an ability to multi-task
- Must be available to work all various shifts including weekends and special events
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a POS system and handling cash/credit/debit card transactions is an asset
- Comfortable working in a kitchen as required (food handlers certificate an asset)
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and retail and outdoor environment
