Job Summary
Spend one hour weekly or fortnightly visiting an elderly resident to provide conversation, companionship, and warmth. Engage in creative activities like sketching, reading, or discussing British dramas and classic mysteries to connect with the resident's interests. Maintain flexible availability between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Sunday, to suit your schedule. This role supports the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, funded by the Australian Government, to reduce isolation and improve quality of life for seniors. No special skills are required beyond a genuine love of connecting with others.
