Job Summary
CPU Design Verification Engineer responsible for pre-silicon functional verification of CPU logic to ensure the design meets specifications. Develops verification plans, IP test benches, and the verification environment to achieve coverage aligned with CPU microarchitecture specifications. Executes verification plans, defines and runs system simulations to identify bugs, reproduces root causes, and implements corrective measures for failing tests. Collaborates with CPU architects and RTL developers to improve verification of architectural features and to meet functional, performance, and power goals. Documents test plans and leads technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams. Maintains and enhances functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any related field
- Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM
- Experience with scripting (PERL, Python)
- Experience with C++ programming
- Familiar with verification tools and methodologies
