Job Summary
CPT Operator with Class A CDL responsible for CPT/SCPT field activities, drilling and sampling geotechnical test borings, supervising crew, and transporting CPT equipment. Requires reading/writing English, ability to pass background and drug tests, and frequent travel. Duties include operating and maintaining field equipment, completing safety and daily paperwork, and ensuring quality field operations across Houston and Beaumont, TX with a focus on geotechnical testing, vane shear testing, wells installation, and associated field support.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Class A Driver’s License
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to pass an initial, random, and annual hair follicle drug test
- Able to physically implement work duties in various weather elements
- Able to physically implement changes and conduct maintenance to equipment
- Willing to work diligently and take ownership over work
- Able to facilitate positive, professional customer relations
- Willing to learn, ask questions, and offer new ideas and suggestions
- Available for frequent travel
- Experience operating CPT, SCPT, and related geotechnical field activities (preferred)
