Job Summary
Operate CPT, MIP, HPT, and UVOST systems while performing equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and minor repairs. Conduct pre-trip inspections, establish control zones, and collect field data with accuracy. Prepare, set up, and break down drilling sites to ensure projects complete safely and efficiently. Follow all company and site-specific safety policies, including DOT regulations and random drug/alcohol testing requirements. Work daily and weekly overtime up to 12 hours per day, lifting 30+ pounds and enduring long periods of standing in all weather conditions. Requires a valid driver's license and 2+ years of environmental drilling experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Class A or B driver's license
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds throughout the day
- Ability to pass a yearly physical
- Ability to pass random drug/alcohol tests
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years environmental drilling experience
- Experience with MIP (Membrane Interface Probe) systems
- Ability to withstand long periods of standing
- Ability to work daily and weekly overtime doing physical labor
- Ability to lift up 30+ pounds throughout the day
- Ability to maneuver in small areas
- Ability to wear protective and safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to work on uneven and slippery outdoor surfaces
- Compliance with DOT physical requirements
- Verification of eligibility through the DOT Clearinghouse
- Feedback from previous employers regarding any prior accidents, failed drug or alcohol tests, or other relevant pre-employment information related to safety-sensitive functions
