Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by scheduling staff to optimize coverage, managing inventory, and ordering parts and supplies. Serve as a hands-on technician diagnosing and repairing cell phones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles while selling accessories and device care products. Handle all customer service issues and escalations, maintain the retail appearance and filing system, and manage employee recruitment, training, and retention. Stay current on industry trends and develop relationships with carrier employees. Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience
- Previous retail management experience
- Prior success recruiting, training, engaging, and retaining top talent
- Adept at using technology required for store operations (e.g., POS systems, scheduling systems)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; typical retail hours to include evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Any wireless device repair certifications (i.e., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE Certifications)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google equivalent
- Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronic devices
- Sales/developing and maintaining relationships with carrier employees
- Oversee the appearance of store with special emphasis on retail area
- Handles all customer service issues & escalations
- Maintaining store filing system
- Facebook and other social media updates for the store
