Job Summary
Drive revenue, profit, and customer metric growth by establishing and executing fruit category business strategies. Lead sourcing of high-quality products at competitive prices through collaboration and negotiation with farms, suppliers, and production sites. Develop product portfolios, pricing strategies, and promotion plans based on market and customer data. Manage the entire supply chain, including quality, inventory, and demand forecasting, to ensure a stable customer experience. Monitor P&L and key KPIs to continuously improve business performance while collaborating with sales, planning, marketing, and operations teams. Identify new business opportunities by analyzing customer insights and market trends, then enhance operational productivity through process improvements and data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in fresh food (fruit, vegetables, etc. agricultural products) or related categories
- Experience in product planning, MD, category management, or brand management
- Experience in supplier management and price negotiation to create business results
- Experience in defining and solving problems based on data
- Experience in managing key business metrics such as sales, margin, and inventory
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating in the fresh food category in the e-commerce or retail industry
- High understanding of the supply chain including fruit origins, farms, and wholesale markets
- Experience leading P&L management and business growth projects
- Experience deriving insights by utilizing data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience in innovating existing methods and pushing new initiatives to improve customer experience
- Ability to proactively solve and execute problems in rapidly changing environments
- Fluent communication in business English
