Job Summary
Lead business strategy execution for the fruit category, driving revenue, profit, and customer metrics growth through portfolio and pricing strategy development. Collaborate with suppliers, farms, and distributors to source competitive products, while managing quality, inventory, and demand forecasting to ensure stable customer experiences. Own P&L management and key KPIs to continuously improve business performance, partnering with sales, product planning, marketing, and operations teams to advance category growth initiatives. Analyze customer insights and market trends to uncover new business opportunities, utilizing data-driven decision-making to enhance operational productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in fresh food (fruit, vegetables, etc.) or related categories
- Experience in product planning, MD, category management, or brand management
- Experience in supplier management and price negotiation to drive business results
- Experience defining and solving problems based on data
- Experience managing key business metrics such as revenue, margin, and inventory
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating in the fresh food category within the e-commerce or retail industry
- High understanding of the supply chain including fruit origins, farms, and wholesale markets
- Experience leading P&L management and business growth projects
- Experience deriving insights by utilizing data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience innovating existing methods and pushing new initiatives to improve customer experience
- Ability to proactively solve and execute problems in rapidly changing environments
- Fluent communication in business English
