Job Summary
The CPI Supervisor performs highly complex consultative services, provides supervision of a unit of caseworkers responsible for conducting Investigations and Alternative Response (AR) cases, analyzes case data to identify trends related to risk and child safety, selects/hires/manages staff, provides guidance to internal and external stakeholders, and ensures productivity and compliance with policy. The role requires on-call duties, regular supervision, and interaction with clients, judges, attorneys, child advocacy centers, medical and school personnel. Travel up to 30% and no telework is allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2 years of full-time experience in Child Protective Services or child placement services in a public social services agency OR 60 accredited college credit hours plus four years CPI/CPS casework experience OR 90 accredited college credit hours plus 3.5 years CPI/CPS casework experience OR currently employed as a Child Protective Services Supervisor I in Family and Protective Services.
