Job Summary
Operations Manager of Central Processing oversees decontamination, instrument and set assembly, sterilization, and case cart picking across a three-shift operation; leads CPD supervisors and technicians, directing staff across multiple shifts to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in sterile processing; develops departmental goals with CPD leadership, maintains compliance with infection-control and regulatory programs, and creates performance measures to drive quality improvements; mentors and trains staff, prioritizes workload to meet on-time completion, and fosters strong relationships with departmental customers while leading process-improvement initiatives and data reporting to support enterprise-wide objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- At least five (5) years progressive management experience in a complex healthcare environment
- Familiar with SPM Microsystems or equivalent system (Required proficiency)
- Proficient in standard office software (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) (Required proficiency)
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - upon hire - Required
- Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) - upon hire - Preferred
- Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association - upon hire - Preferred
