Job Summary
Lead the firm's Tax Department as Tax Director, overseeing both compliance and advisory services. Drive Tax Advisory Services (TAS) growth, build and mentor a team of tax advisors and preparers, ensure high-quality, on-time returns, and maintain strong client relationships with business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and multi-entity structures. Serve as the technical authority on tax planning and compliance, lead firm leadership initiatives, and contribute to strategic direction and QA processes. Requirements include CPA and 10+ years in public accounting with leadership experience; strong mastery of individual and business taxation and the ability to diagnose client situations and craft proactive tax strategies.
Required Qualifications
- CPA required
- MS in Taxation strongly preferred
- 10+ years of public accounting experience with leadership or review capacity
- Mastery of tax strategy development
- Experience managing or developing tax staff
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at the advisory level
- Comfortable in a growing firm
