Job Summary
Chief Engineer (Onsite) for Raytheon’s Coyote CUAS Production within the Land and Air Defense Systems unit. Responsible for technical leadership of production and sustainment engineering activities, coordinating across functions to resolve supplier and factory issues, mentoring engineers, and interfacing with the U.S. Government customer. Drives production execution, maturation and capacity planning aligned to program goals, maintains technical integrity across IPTs, serves as principal technical contact with production teams and senior leaders, and guides upgrades, configuration control, and supplier change processes. Leads a multi-disciplinary engineering team, engages major subcontractors, and supports program planning, verification, and production delivery. Requires a STEM degree with ~12+ years’ experience, active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, onsite presence in Tucson, AZ, and may involve travel. Relocation assistance is available.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
- Experience in system development and design, requirements development, management, verification, system integration and test, and production
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing resources with multi-million-dollar annual budgets
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance)
