• •ability to safely use sharp knives and blades for food preparation
• •ability to operate a delivery vehicle in accordance with applicable DOT standards
• •ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning/sanitation duties
• •regular exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dampness, dirt, and cleaning chemicals or solvents
• •Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen

• •Clean registers, restrooms, the break room, and the backroom, and sweep and mop floors as needed
• •Clean the can redemption area and empty recycle bins where applicable
• •Stock, face, and rotate merchandise, clean shelves, understand shelf tags, and know the location of merchandise in the store and backroom
• •Pull product forward on shelves to maintain a full, organized appearance
• •Check prices on products as needed
• •Maintain front end supplies including paper and plastic bags, receipt paper, and other necessary items
• •Help train new courtesy clerks
• •Deliver product to customers and assist in all departments as requested within wage and hour guidelines
• •Shovel, salt, and sand walkways as needed
• •Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
• •Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned
• •Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress standards, and all Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines
• •Report to work when scheduled and on time
