Job Summary
Maintains acceptable store conditions and provides customer service as a Courtesy Clerk. Engages with customers, bags and transports groceries, locates products, and conducts price verifications. Stocks front-end racks, drink coolers, and cleaning supply stations; collects shopping carts and keeps parking lot free of debris. Promotes product sales through active customer engagement and adheres to safety and company policies while working in a fast-paced retail environment. Typical duties include greeting customers, answering questions, bagging and transporting groceries into customers’ vehicles, and maintaining a clean, safe store.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age required
- Typically involves on-the-job training
- Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business per BGC policy
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to bag groceries, engage with customers, and maintain a safe, sanitary store environment
- Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with customers and partners
