Courtesy Clerk (Bagger) - Student

Provide efficient and courteous service to customers while following packaging procedures and adhering to the bagging manual. Fill bag racks, unload shopping carts, and assist cashiers in checking out customers as efficiently as possible. Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot, keep work stations and store areas neat and clean, and assist in stocking milk, eggs, and general merchandise. Assist customers in locating products, explain the ValuCard program, and understand shelf tags for price changes. Sweep and mop all areas, maintain clean bathrooms, keep parking lots and carts litter-free, work the parcel pick-up area, replace misplaced items, collect trash and bale boxes, and use the intercom properly. Others duties may be assigned as needed.
