Job Summary
Courtesy Cart Driver at Callaway Resort & Gardens on-site in Pine Mountain, GA. Responsibilities include safely operating guest transportation carts and shuttles to move guests between attractions, lodging, event venues, parking areas, and resort amenities; providing prompt responses to guest transportation requests; assisting guests with boarding and exiting vehicles; supporting transportation during special events and peak periods; delivering friendly guest service and offering directions and wayfinding assistance; upholding safety and compliance with company policies, conducting pre-operation vehicle inspections, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns; providing accessibility assistance for guests with mobility challenges; communicating operational concerns to supervisors to maintain efficient transportation coverage; and contributing to a positive, professional guest experience through strong communication, teamwork, and high service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
- Previous transportation, traffic control, security, hospitality, or event operations experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate golf carts, shuttles, trolleys, or utility vehicles preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic or high-stress situations
- Be able to positively motivate and lead a team, conveying information and ideas clearly and effectively so that ownership of high levels of guest service is understood to be the role of each individual team member
- Be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Be able to work well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity, including the ability to listen carefully to and resolve guest issues to the satisfaction of the affected guests
- Be able to identify potential guest issues and then develop methodologies to prevent or limit the impact of those guest issues during guest visits
- Be able to assimilate complex information and data for various sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the need
- Be able to effectively listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by team members and guests
- Be able to work with and understand financial information and data and perform basic math functions
- Education & Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age
- Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Location/history: Long hours may be required
- Be able to stand for long hours and sit for extended periods
