Job Summary
Court Operations Associate (Records/Courtroom Clerk) in Salem, OR, supporting the Appellate Court Services Division by setting up courtrooms, operating electronic recording systems, and facilitating remote, in-person, and hybrid proceedings. Responsibilities include managing timekeeping, webcasting, posting argument recordings, handling exhibits and records, assisting judges, attorneys, and the public, and providing administrative support to the Appellate Court Records Section. Requires at least a high school diploma/equivalent and 3+ years of related office experience; strong clerical/administrative skills, customer service, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines. Full-time, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with potential overtime; background check required; no visa sponsorship. Location: Salem, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in a moderately complex office or business setting involving processing of financial, administrative, or legal documents
- experience performing clerical/administrative tasks with deadlines
- experience using various software programs to access and enter information
- experience providing customer service
- experience writing and reviewing documents for accuracy, grammar, punctuation
- experience identifying and safeguarding confidential information
