Job Summary
Court Operations Associate supports court proceedings both remotely and in person, performing clerical, data-entry, and customer-service duties. Responsibilities include processing filings in the Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS), coordinating hearings, preparing and handling court-related paperwork, ensuring confidentiality, assisting customers and judicial staff via in-person, email, and phone channels, and performing QA on documents. Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with e-Filing, eSignature, and Microsoft Office. Hybrid work arrangement with normal hours Monday–Friday 8:00–4:30; interviews via Zoom; starting pay $22.50/hour with a stated hiring range and criminal background check as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of employment related to customer service
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of court decorum and legal terminology
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to learn and utilize new technology, including e-Filing, eSignature, Microsoft Office products, and document management systems
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands simultaneously
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Ability to communicate concisely and clearly, both verbally and in writing
