Job Summary
Court Administrator/Jury Commissioner to oversee day-to-day Court operations, grant writing and implementation, payroll and budgeting, HR issues, and IT/policy coordination. Primary responsibilities include directing court programs, managing finances and contracts, administering grants, maintaining personnel records, ensuring compliance with record retention rules, overseeing security and IT policy, developing and updating website support, and serving as the primary contact for personnel and community. Requires a four-year college degree and experience in court practices, government accounting, and grant writing, with proficiency in Excel/Word/Courtview and strong organizational, confidentiality, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a four-year college degree
- Experience in court practices and procedures
- Experience with computers, budgeting, government accounting, and grant writing
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Courtview, payroll software and related tools
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and pass a background check
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to work with all levels of staff and the public
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with human resources and employment laws
