Job Summary
Course Coordinator duties include troubleshooting technical problems students have accessing Brightspace, posting online course materials, consulting with Teaching Assistants, responding to emails, assisting with troubleshooting, grade entry in the Gradebook, and other course administration as required; requires an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Human Geography or equivalent, strong communication and interpersonal skills, Brightspace proficiency, and the ability to prioritize deadlines. Position is part-time and on campus, subject to course enrolments and budgetary approval.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Human Geography or equivalent
- Demonstrated successful experience working with undergraduate students as a Teaching Assistant in Human Geography courses
- Excellent working knowledge of Brightspace
- Strong and tactful written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
