Job Summary
Transport specimens, reports, and supplies between laboratory and healthcare provider locations while ensuring proper specimen handling and safe vehicle operation in all weather conditions. Interact with clients to deliver customer-focused service and champion safety, compliance, and quality control standards. Operate a motor vehicle with a valid license and excellent driving record, navigating routine hazards and working in a fast-paced environment under time constraints. This role involves incidental exposure to Protected Health Information, requiring adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards. Part-time PRN schedule in West Monroe, LA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- An excellent driving record for the past three years
- Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to navigate routine hazards of the road
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
