Job Summary
Drive throughout the city and surrounding areas to pickup and deliver laboratory specimens, supplies, and other items to and from the Hospital. Verify specimen request information for accuracy and proper packaging. Sort client reports and deliveries by specimen type and department. Maintain a daily activity record indicating number of trips, destination, arrival/departure times, and the number of requests.
Required Qualifications
- HS grad or GED Equivalent
- valid Indiana Operator's license
- good driving history
- understanding of traffic laws of Indiana
- ability to communicate effectively
- strong customer service skills
