Job Summary
Operate a vehicle to deliver blood products and lightweight materials along assigned routes, verifying orders and maintaining route supply inventory. Prepare for deliveries by loading vehicles and documenting temporary storage and transportation of blood products per regulatory requirements. Provide customer service by interacting positively with internal and external customers while maintaining excellent vehicle conditions through cleaning and fluid checks. Support shipping and receiving operations as directed and perform additional transport or loading duties for ARC Blood Services. Work Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 1:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Clean DMV record
- Ability to drive for long periods of time
- Operational flexibility to meet sudden and unpredictable needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with a messenger service or trucking company
- Strong technical proficiency with experience using mapping applications for navigation and route optimization
